One weird thing about living in Las Vegas all these years is the frequency of the "Nevada Connection" to all sorts of crimes and scandals that make the national news. I'm from Columbus Ohio, which is also a cross-roads of sorts, but it pales in comparison. Check this out.

The newly appointed head of a Nevada commission to investigate state spending says he will not resign voluntarily because he's done nothing wrong. So far, Governor Jim Gibbons is standing by his man.

Allegations were first reported on Friday by the Channel 8 I-Team after a high ranking Nevada Republican sent a private letter to the governor demanding the resignation of Bruce James from the state commission. . .
