This clip from Boston Legal has been making the email rounds lately, oddly enough mostly from the same people who like to send out Barack Obama hoaxes. Ah, but the joke is on them.
William Shatner's Denny Crane character--a senior citizen with Alzheimer's disease (or Mad Cow)--is a modern day Archie Bunker. He's a token conservative in a very liberal show, and while Mr. Shatner does a spectacular job in the role, he's meant to be something of a joke. Comic relief. I'm not sure the emailers out their quite get that. But that is hardly surprising.
