Barack Obama Clinches Democratic Nomination

I'm happy to hear this news, of course. But it is squelched a little by the fact that Hillary Clinton has not yet conceded, and seems to be willing to--somehow--push on. It is clear that one of her options is to just hang in there and hope that "something happens" that drives those Barack Obama delegates to switch back over to her side. Yikes. I'm hopeful that in the next few days, this becomes more definitive.

[Excerpt]

Sen. Barack Obama sealed the Democratic nomination for the presidency Tuesday, according to an Associated Press tally. The son of a black father from Kenya and a white mother from Kansas, he is the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.
