During the waning days of the John McCain/Sarah Palin campaign, rumblings grew louder and louder from supporters, and by Palin herself goin' "rogue," that Palin was the new Republican star, the person being voted for rather than McCain. Check out any right-wing blog, and see the effusive praise for Palin, now followed by "2012" and/or "Bobby Jindal." But hurry, because I don't think it's going to last.
My prediction is that Palin will be kicked to the curb very, very soon, and that whatever wattage her celebrity may have held, it is going to burn out quickly. And this isn't just a gut feeling either. FOX "News" has gotten the ball rolling with some stunning video, showing just how clueless Caribou Barbie really is, including thinking that Africa is a country and not a continent, and apparently not knowing which countries are in North America. And if FOX is doing this, it must just be the tip of the ol' iceberg!
