My biggest disappointment with President Obama's tax plan is the same one I have with the Obama Administration in general. Too often, they start out by compromising. They give away the big stuff up front, usually with no promise (or often even hint) of getting anything in return. On top of this, their rapid capitulation seems to be fear of either the roster of cartoon characters on FOX "News" and talk radio, or the more official, but equally cartoony characters on Capital Hill.
Keith Olbermann is several stages further up the rage-o-meter than I am on this issue. But I can't say he's wrong.

Obama didn't compromise. He's just a fool who was in over his head. He really doesn't know what he's doing. People only voted for him because he built a myth for himself that has since been exposed as a fraud.
ReplyDeleteObama cannot simultaneously be an oaf in over his head, and a Marxist, Maoist, Nazi, iron-fisted dictator ramming his socialist, communist agenda down American's throats.
ReplyDeleteYou're also forgetting a reason that people voted for him: They were exhausted, and disgusted after 8 years of Bush/Cheney and were desperate for a change. It's probably only natural that we got our hopes up too high.
