I won't pretend to know what this passport business all means. And since it is recently breaking news, neither do even the talking heads. On MSNBC alone, there was wild speculation, followed by admonishments toward sensationalism, followed by more speculation. If any good comes out of it, it might be a discussion by Americans about privacy issues.
