Democrats and liberals are not happy about the concessions made to Republicans, nor the apparent bragging by the President at the resolution:

Really? M'mkay, if you think so. But as long as we're talking ONLY of spending cuts, and there are zero proposals for revenue, nobody is really being serious here.
ReplyDeleteTaxes are necessary to promote the commons. There are certainly wastes of spending and those SHOULD be cut. That's not what's going on here. We're cutting muscle and bone along with fat.
