Unintended Imagery: The Drudge Report

Every once in a while, I log in to The Drudge Report, a leading right-wing website, just to see what they're saying, and what's going on. Drudge's stock-in-trade is ugly or unflattering shots of Democrats (particularly Hillary Clinton), or super-flattering shots of the Republican heroes of the day. Sometimes, however, these pictures can have unintended reactions--at least from this blogger.

Up first, a picture of John Edwards that I'm sure is intended to make him look somehow small or insignificant. I didn't have that reaction though, I think he looks rather inspiring. And unlike the cartoon characters running on the Right, he looks good. Heh.

Second, a shot probably meant to make John McCain's resurgence look heroic. For me? Um, no, not so much. Silly would be my first choice.

And last, The Decider. He got him a sword! Who's a big boy? Who's a biiig boy? Gah.
