No Fate But What We Make

Having just watched the latest episode of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles (a terrific show, by the way), this little news item is a little unsettling. And since the Terminator timeline has gotten moved forward with the new series, the years are actually pretty close. How unrealistic is it to think that if machines eventually match human intellect, they just might want the world to themselves? Creepy.
