Have you ever noticed that when you get a cold or flu, people come out of the woodwork with "cures" for it? As far as I know, no such cure exists, and I've never found anything that definitively worked any better than just riding it out.
Airborne is a product that claims to help you prevent getting a cold in the first place. I've not put much more stock in this than in the cold cures. For one thing, it seems like the people with the most advice tend to get sick more often than anybody! The Other Half swears by Airborne (or its off-brand lookalikes). I've never been so sure. And I may have been right.

Cold Remedy Airborne Settles Lawsuit
If you bought Airborne, the popular herbal and vitamin formula originally touted as a cold preventive, you're due for a refund.
The makers of Airborne have agreed to refund money to consumers as part of a $23.3 million settlement of a class-action lawsuit for false advertising. It does not admit wrongdoing or illegal conduct.
