Dr. Laura is at it again. Her popularity has long since waned from its zenith, proven here in Las Vegas, where she's been tape-delayed and truncated on the local right-wing radio station. So, she's thrusting herself back into the spotlight by saying inflammatory things regarding the Eliot Spitzer sex scandal.
The Dr. Laura Show is a strange beast. The good "doctor"--not a psychologist or psychiatrist--takes calls from fawning fans, and then skewers them. "Hi Dr. Laura, I love your show. . ." they'll start, and lavish her with compliments. Then, after they've sung their sad song, Dr. Laura berates them, calls them stupid and slutty, and leaves them in tears.
The weirdest part, is that these people are idolizing a woman who herself has been married more than once, committed adultery, had naked pictures of herself posted on the Internet, and whose own mother died alone and untended. Who is she? Anyway, here's the latest.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger has never been one to shrink from controversy, and she leaped headlong into one on Monday when she said that if a husband cheats, his wife may share some of the blame.
