This story is a couple of days old, I know, but since I brought up the Grand Canyon a couple of posts ago, I thought it would be nice to add this photo essay. I haven't been able to find out what effect this will have on Lake Mead here in the Las Vegas area, but I can only hope this extends our water supply a little bit.
