Everything old is new again. This is either very bad news, given Ken Mehlman and Karl Rove's propensity to twist the truth (to say the least) and be very, very dirty in campaigns. Or it could be very good news. They are viewed as the slimy operatives they are by virtually all Democrats, and a not inconsiderable number of Republicans as well. And their tactics surely did not work in 2006.
I've got to wonder, how long it will be before Mehlman joins Rove as a "fair and balanced" FOX "News" contributor, while both do double-duty as advisers to John McCain?
