"Laugh or cry?" That quote from the HBO program, Nurse Jackie, has quickly become a favorite in our household. And it couldn't be more apt, in relation to the excerpted article below. Liz Cheney is seriously being considered a "fresh face" of the GOP, a rock star.
On one hand, my heart sinks at the notion of a continuation of the Cheney legacy. On the other, she is only slightly less cartoonish than the rest of the roster (Sarah Palin, Bibby Jindal, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachmann, ad infinitum). So, a good thing, or a bad thing? Laugh or cry?
