You slay me, Sofa! First you call liberals "America haters," and then you want the government to collapse? Something tells me that if the government just one day closed up shop, we'd be living in a dystopian nightmare.
The phrase "Liberal" actually means something. In western civilization, the traditional 'Liberal' is someone who is opposed to statism.
Saying that 'statists' are 'liberal' reveals that the terms are being misused, for ulterior motives. Collectivists hijacked the Dems, but changed the meaning of the words. How could 'liberal' be applied to a group that supports DHS and Napalitano?!
This government has made itself repugnant to the Constitution. All governments repugnant to the Constitution are Null and Void. (research Marbury vs Madison)
The government is crashing, if you pay attention. And it is a nightmare. I wish it wasn't happening, but...

I am reminded of a passage in J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous trilogy, The Lord of the Rings.
It is an exchange between Frodo the hobbit and Gandalf the wizard, and it concerns the perilous quest on which Frodo and his friends have been sent.
Frodo says: “I wish it need not have happened in my time.”
Gandalf responds: “So do I, and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
It is time for us to decide what to do with the time that is given us...

Liberal to me means open-minded, and looking out for the common good, willing to change. Conservative is clenched, pinched, selfish, afraid of change. And of course, libertarians want to smoke dope and get laid. Heh.
Don't pay!
ReplyDeleteThe sooner we're rid of this government, the better.

ReplyDeleteLiving is good. Wanting to change that, is silly.
ReplyDeleteThat's an example where change would be bad.
I'll stick with what works. The only system that has ever worked, and which created the greatest freedom and wealth ever known to man.
If you want to kill yourself, go ahead.
Do not force the rest of us to go along with your suicide.
Kill myself. . .WTF? Where did you. . .what did. . oh nevermind. You're off the deep end.
ReplyDeleteJames- America is not the government, it is the people.
ReplyDeleteWhat the government is doing is destructive, and cannot be sustained, or it will kill itself and the people with it.
Reality and Darwin cannot be avoided.
Doing stupid things, has consequences.
"You can evade reality, but you cannot evade the consequences of evading reality”
- Ayn Rand
Wait, isn't the American Government by, for and of the people?
ReplyDeleteNewsflash for those who are evading reality: The government is at war with 'we the people'.
ReplyDeleteExaggerate much? Who in the government particularly? Barack Obama? John Boehner? Dick Cheney?
