If White House is Charged, Courts May be Friendly

Former "Bush's Brain" Karl Rove was instrumental in dividing this country more rigidly than it had ever been divided before. You'd be hard pressed to find a Democrat that will vote Republican in the next Presidential election. In that regard, hopefully, Rove's plan backfired.

But the rabid partisanship that exists in Congress and in the courts really frosts me. I get loyalty. I get voting for things that your party is for. What I don't get is loyalty that extends to turning a blind eye to illegal or unethical behavior. In an ideal America, it would not matter if a judge was conservative or liberal. All that should matter is law, intent and procedure. I fervently hope that the courts surprise us and do the right thing.
