I may have to come up with a different way to refer to FOX "News." Somehow, my quotes around "news" just don't seem adequate anymore. When you move Karl from his clandestine position behind the cameras, to a front-and-center position on camera, you've taken that final step into the surreal.
Karl Rove is, after all, the architect of the disasterous past seven years in politics. He's one of the primary reasons this Presidential primary season got pushed up so far, why Democrats are turning out in record numbers to vote. This country is not just ready for a change, they're clamoring for it. And now FOX wants him to be their new star? Could there be any clearer sign that their relevence has passed?
