Senators Propose Amendment to Undo Citizens United

If you don't know what the Citizens United case did to American Politics, please look it up.  The main result of that case--though it doesn't seem that the Citizens United organization involved in the case intended it--was an opening of the money floodgates into elections. Some of that money could be from just about anybody, and differs from money laundering in no significant way.

Until it is understood in this country that corporations are not people, and money is not speech, we're going to have to tolerate bought-and-paid-for politicians, and relentless, irritating Karl Rove commercials.
