Yeah, she sorta did. And I'm not sure she isn't serious, either. The old guard right (Coulter, Hannity, Limbaugh) really seem to detest John McCain. And their only other realistic option is Mitt Romney--who they're not crazy about either. Seriously, how did this once powerful group get down to this? Either they didn't really try, and they want to lose, or there just isn't anyone left to pick from.
And that may be the rub. The ideology is losing its relevency at last. Of all of them, Ann Coulter is the one I'll be happiest to see slink off into her crypt. No, I'm not wishing her dead, I'm just thinking that's where she probably lives.
