Whole Foods is right up there with Trader Joe's for stores heavily shopped by the liberally minded. Liberals got the whole arugula = elitist labels somewhere, right? So it might be a bad idea for the CEO of the company to go full-out right winger on the subject of health care reform, right? Even worse, it was in a high-profile, Rupert Murdoch-owned, editorially right-wing publication, The Wall Street Journal.
It's kind of like if the editor of High Times came out against the decriminalization of marijuana. OK, maybe not that spot-on, but you get what I'm going for.

Whole Foods CEO John Mackey has raised the ire of many of his most loyal customers by penning an anti-health care reform editorial in yesterday's Wall Street Journal, in which he lovingly quotes Margaret Thatcher and says that there is no "intrinsic right to health care. . ."
