One World Trade Center: Tallest Building in New York

When I started hearing the buzz on this story, I thought that One World Trade Center was done. And I thought, "where was the buildup for that?" But it's not. It's just risen past the Empire State Building in height on its way up. Which is kind of a bummer. I mean, it's been almost eleven years. Living in Las Vegas where we (used to) put up mega-resorts in just a year or two. . .well, I just mean, what's taken so long?


One World Trade Center becomes New York’s tallest skyscraper

People look up at the One World Trade Center building, which is under construction on the site of the destroyed original World Trade Center in New York City. One World Trade officially surpassed the height of the Empire State Building today to become New York City's tallest building. . .
