Sure the Mac guy/PC guy ads have been parodied to death, though I still find the real ads pretty funny. It doesn't hurt that John Hodge is hilarious and Justin Long is cute. Still as memorable as they are, I think their style will be what lasts in pop culture history. Their ability to make people switch from PC to Mac might be a little less effective.
So I wonder if this ad from the Center for American Progress will have any effect in making people switch from conservative to progressive. Probably not. But it's still fun, even if it casts the square, nerdy guy as a conservative. Hey, some of us progressive PC-users are nerdy too! Heh. That said, I do appreciate the "Pro" and "Con" labels.
