They saved the big cheese for the last day. Rush Limbaugh. Politicians try to distance themselves from the formerly fringe, now front-and-center de facto leader of the Republican Party, only to beg forgiveness later. Right-wingers have been yukking it up, saying we liberals consider Barack Obama to be "The Messiah" (when only they use that term for him). Well, 'pubbies. Who's your messiah now?

That’s what you can conclude from Limbaugh’s virtually drug-addled, Messianic, Hallucinogenic "speech" to a Saturday CPAC audience that seemed right out of Nathaniel West’s monstrous crowd scene in "Day of the Locust."

Limbaugh was dressed in black, as if he were the Pillsbury Doughboy trying to imitate Steven Seagal. . .
