Why is Newt Gingrich Called Out as a "Scam Artist" Only by Rachel Maddow?

Newt Gingrich has made a lot of money in his political career. Initially, he did it as an actual politician. Since then (after leaving office in disgrace), he's been a lobbyist "historian," an author of political books, a FOX "News" employee and the face of several related organizations that made money by scamming people. Maddow reported that Gingrich rescinded the award and the dinner invitation that went with it, when he realized the nature of the business involved. Unfortunately, that didn't stop Gingrich's organization from trying to scam the same business later on. (In the end, the gavel was passed on to Maddow as a souvenir.). . .
