When I came out to my family, I had to call home, because they are 2,000 miles away in Ohio. Long story short, nobody was home, and I had to leave super-important, vague messages for everybody. The resulting call-backs were a comedy of errors, and nobody was too put out or surprised. But, my situation was a little more ordinary than this. . .
