With my heavy focus on the Scooter Libby commuted sentence, it may be appropriate to dispel some common myths about the case. The first is "Since Armitage was the leaker there was no underlying crime." Irrelevant since the charge was obstruction of justice, but regardless, go here for the refutation of that claim:
