I've seen the original Jamie Lee Curtis version of Prom Night, and it's decidedly not a classic. It's not even so bad it's good. It was a cheap imitation of her own classic Halloween, as well as Friday the 13th, and a series of other also-rans. And I had no high hopes for the remake either. Until I read this. Maybe it's worth a view after all?
