Movies I Can't Wait to See: Prom Night?

I've seen the original Jamie Lee Curtis version of Prom Night, and it's decidedly not a classic. It's not even so bad it's good. It was a cheap imitation of her own classic Halloween, as well as Friday the 13th, and a series of other also-rans. And I had no high hopes for the remake either. Until I read this. Maybe it's worth a view after all?

Well cast and solidly crafted, latest genre product from Screen Gems struck B.O. paydirt, taking in $22.7 million in its opening weekend as it clicked with teens -- including couples preparing for their own senior-year celebrations -- and early twentysomethings. . .
