Uh-Oh! Newt Gingrich's Health Care Ideas a Lot Like "Obamacare"

One thing we can be sure about is that politics from the right these days isn't rooted in anything. Oh sure, there's abortion, gays, guns, those things they claim to be firm on. But if Barack Obama proposed outlawing same-sex marriage, overturning Roe v. Wade, and thought gun ownership should be mandatory, Mitch McConnell, Eric Cantor and John Boner Boehner would denounce him. You know it.

So, does it come as a surprise to anybody that President Obama's Affordable Care Act would have many similarities to Republican ideas? Specifically Newt Gingrich's ideas? And that they all, including Newt, pretend that it is the most socialist, communist, Marxist, statist (there, I said it!) plan ever devised?
