Gingrich, Romney, Santorum: Say No to Porn!

Rick Santorum wants to take away pre-marital sex (and it doesn't count if you're gay married), extra-marital sex and contraceptives. And is oddly also anti-abortion. But now they've just gone too far. Mitt Romney and (serial adulterer) Newt Gingrich have joined (don't Google me) Santorum, this time against pornography. Tell me something. How many voters in this country ever partake in even just a little porn? Not to mention pre- and extra-marital sex, usually with contraception? How narrow does the GOP want its dating pool?

Besides, you know what? The genie is out of the bottle. Any attempt to curtail pornography will result in exactly one thing: a black market. A kid looking to get an issue of Playboy, Juggs or Shaved Asian Cuties might be as much a criminal as if he were buying crack cocaine. Brilliant. Let's run a porn war like the drug war. That'll work.

Last October, Morality In Media (MIM), the “leading national organization opposing pornography and indecency through public education and the application of the law,” launched an effort to get presidential candidates in both major parties to commit to strict enforcement of obscenity laws. In both face-to-face meetings and written statements, three candidates made this pledge: Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum.
