In the last day, I've run two posts (here and here) headlined Stuck on Stupid. It just so happened that two celebrities were caught on video being really stupid. Would you have a problem believing that stupid happens in the world of politics too?
Mike Huckabee is having a rather interesting week or two. He's performed well in the most recent Republican debate, charming the pants of of Republicans while scaring some of us Democrats. He's charming, funny, and so very wrong on everything. That seems to be the recipe for success in Republican Presidential nominations!
Huckabee's also found himself hemming and hawing, trying to extricate himself from a scandal, all while his star is on the rise. He's actually entered "front runner" territory right when this story is starting to break. And then there's this little news nugget, which paints the guy as stupid, or at least very badly informed.

The most interesting campaign news this morning is a report from The Politico’s Jonathan Martin that surging GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee was totally unaware of a new National Intelligence Estimate finding that Iran suspended its nuclear weapons program four years ago. . .
