I was surprised to see Wisconsin State Senator (R-Naturally) Glenn Grothman speak so disparagingly of the protestors in Madison. But there he was, on Last Call with Lawrence O'Donnell, and though the host gave him more than one opportunity to dig himself out of the hole, he kept digging. I predict that the left will be trying to make hay of the statement, and that the right will try to make him a hero.
Well, considering that the goon part of the crowd attacked Grothman today, he's not too far from the truth.

And Dan, the "attack" was greatly exaggerated -- Grothman admits that he never felt physically threatened.
