Rachel Maddow: Newt Gingrich is Not Running for President

Doesn't it seem like Newt Ginchrich has been thisclose to running for President practically since he resigned in disgrace as Speaker of the House in the 1990s? We all thought that Sarah Palin was a new political creature, but she's really the female Newt: A former politician who remains relevent by almost running for things, while charging a fortune for speaking events, books and the like. If Rachel is right--and I'll bet she is--Newt Gingrich is not running for President. But if he did, it would be highly entertaining.
