Obama Campaign Sues to Stop Vote Caging

Yes! This is a move that will greatly increase liberal enthusiasm for the Barack Obama campaign. Not that it was waning, exactly, but we've been feeling a little glum with all of the attention (yes, plenty of it here too) with Grampa McCain and Caribou Barbie.

Voter caging is a proven and despicable practice that Republicans have used in the past, and are trying to use again to prevent people from voting. It's been a grave worry for liberals, because Republicans are very careful to cull largely Democratic voters from the voter rolls. Obama's decision to try to do something about it is a very welcome turn.
