John McCain's campaign seems to be desperate to keep the spotlight on anything but actual issues and policy proposals. We've had a seemingly endless stream of negative--largely false--ads, focusing on all manner of unlikely things. But where is McCain on the issues?
My mother is a stalwart Republican, and is thus utterly against "socialized health care." She doesn't seem to mind socialized schools, fire departments, police departments, military, or roads, of course. But for some reason, health care is just off the table. But my mom also plans to vote for John McCain (or perhaps for Sarah Palin). What exactly does McCain-Palin have planned for health care? Don't know? Let's find out. . .
